"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

And give it time, friend ^^ peoples aren't genna just magically popup You've only been a member for a few days anyways :3 I suggest browsing galleries, leaving comments on pages, faving things, watching peoples, and using the shoutbox(and unless you're good at standing up to whores, stay away from it at night ).
Usually peoples will drop by your gallery to say "thanks" and it will get you noticed more ^^ I hope my advice helps :3
